After a quick vote, it has been decided that this year's Pilliayar Nombu will be held on Saturday the 7th of Jan 2012 in Cannock.

Dear Nagarathars,
The Nagarathar Virunthu 2011 will start at 10am on Sunday 28th August with a variety of events hosted at Peacock Hotel, Grand Hotel and Raffles in Kenilworth. The function will continue through to Monday 29th August when there will be external activities planned with breakfast and lunch on offer on the Bank Holiday Monday. The event will finish for 5pm on Monday.

The Nagarathar Virunthu 2011 was held on 28th and 29th August 2011. A great time was had by all the attendees and we would like to thank our kind hosts for all their efforts in making the event so great.
Pictures taken at the event have been released by Mr Muthu Muthalagappan on YouTube. They can be found by searching for Nagarathar Virunthu 2011. There are seven parts in total. |

Apologies for the delay in updating the site. The minutes for the Tamil New Year 2011 Meeting follows:
The Tamil New Year Meeting was held on 16 April 2011 and commenced at 12.45pm at Greenwood Park Community Centre, Chiswell Green, St Albans, Hertfordshire. The meeting was attended by 74 adults and 34 children.
